NPD approves North Sea Storklakken area wildcat

The Norwegian Petroleum Directorate has authorized Aker BP to drill an exploration well 6 km (3.7 mi) southwest of the Storklakken discovery.

OSLO, Norway – The Norwegian Petroleum Directorate has authorized Aker BP to drill an exploration well 6 km (3.7 mi) southwest of the Storklakken discovery.

The jackupMaersk Interceptor will drill well 25/4-11, the first on the PL 677 license, which comprises the southern part of block 25/1 and the northern part of block 25/4.
