Offshore staff
ABERDEEN, UK – Well management specialist Exceed completed wide-ranging programs in the North Sea and the Middle East North Africa region last year.
In the UK northern North Sea, the company assistedFairfield’s P&A campaign in the Dunlin area involving 45 platform wells and 16 subsea wells.
It also provided well management support for planning of a deepwater well offshore North Africa, and three proof of concept pilots in theMiddle East, under which up to 12 Exceed staff will be deployed to the region.
In addition, the company performed pre-feasibility engineering work, late life asset management and liability studies for Faroe Petroleum, Boskalis, Verus Petroleum, the Oil & Gas Authority, Serica Energy, and Houlder Marine.
As a result Exceed recruited more staff, including some fromApplied Drilling Technology International (ADTI), the former well management division operated by Transocean.
By next March the company expects to have recruited 20 ADTI people.
Exceed has expanded its subsurface capabilities via an alliance with geoservices specialist Quad Operations.
Via a partnership withBoskalis, the company can offer a fully-integrated decommissioning solution including topsides, jackets, subsea and subsea pipeline capability: Boskalis offers marine services suited to a range of decommissioning scenarios with Exceed bringing relevant well engineering.
The company’s newest alliance is with Norway-based well management group Well Expertise, designed to support clients in the UK, Norway, and internationally.
