    Hans well disappoints Total

    Total E&P Norge has terminated a dry wildcat well in the Norwegian Sea. Well 6406/8-2 was probing oil and gas potential in the Jurassic-age Hans prospect in 365 m (1,197 ft) of water, 45 km (27.96 mi) northwest of the producing Njord field.

    OSLO, Norway --Total E&P Norge has terminated a dry wildcat well in the Norwegian Sea. Well 6406/8-2 was probing oil and gas potential in the Jurassic-age Hans prospect in 365 m (1,197 ft) of water, 45 km (27.96 mi) northwest of the producing Njord field.

    The semisubmersibleOcean Vanguard has since moved south to the North Sea to work for Statoil on the Snorre field.
