ABERDEEN, UK– CNOOC Petroleum Europe has prolonged KCA Deutag’s drilling operations and maintenance services contract for the Scott field platform in the UK central North Sea.
KCA Deutag has served as drilling contractor on an uninterrupted basis on the facility since 1992. The latest extension runs for four years until March 2023, with the possibility of a further two-year extension.
