Oil discovered in BM-S52 block pre-salt layer

    BG Group and Petrobras have discovered evidence of oil in the pre-salt layer in the BM-S52 block in the Santos basin.

    RIO DE JANEIRO -- BG Group and Petrobras have discovered evidence of oil in the pre-salt layer in the BM-S52 block in the Santos basin.

    The consortium plans to continue drilling well 6-BG-6P-SPS, know as Corcovado-1, and also drill another well this year.
