PSA grants North Sea drilling consents

The Petroleum Safety Authority Norway (PSA) has granted Det norske Oljeselskap consent to drill appraisal well 16/1-11 in the northern Norwegian North Sea using the semisub Songa Delta.

OSLO -- The Petroleum Safety Authority Norway (PSA) has granted Det norske Oljeselskap consent to drill appraisal well 16/1-11 in the northern Norwegian North Sea using the semisub Songa Delta.

Statoil has received consent to conduct sidetrack drilling, completion, and plugging of well 31/2-M-14 on the Troll field using the semisub Polar Pioneer.

The PSA has also granted BG Norge consent to drill exploration well 34/5-1 using the semisub Bredford Dolphin.
