DUBAI, UAE --Aqualis Offshore has completed its first rig move to the Indian sector.
TheJindal Star, a new build MLT 116 E jackup, was towed from Lamprell’s shipyard in the UAE to an ONGC platform offshore India’s west coast.
Shortly afterwards, Aqualis supervised an infield move of a second Aban Offshore rig.
The London-based engineering consultancy started operations last year. Aside from rig moves, it provides concept, front-end, and basic design engineering for rigs and fixed offshore installations, plus upgrades and conversions of jackups.
