Infill drilling continues at Kinabalu offshore Malaysia

Talisman Energy has updated the status of its offshore operations in the Asia/Pacific region.

CALGARY, Canada – Talisman Energy has updated the status of its offshore operations in the Asia/Pacific region.
Last December, the company drilled and tied-in the first well of a planned multi-well infill program at theKinabalu field offshore Malaysia. A second well was completed in January. The company expects to add additional wells as technical work progresses.
Elsewhere, Talisman plans more drilling on the PM-3 CAA concession and up to four exploration wells offshore Sabah.
In the Nam Con Son basin off southern Vietnam, Talisman plans two exploration wells and a 3D seismic program.
Onblock 07/03, has completed the CRD-3X well and side track with encouraging early results. In January, drilling started of 07/03-CD-1X, the final commitment well on the block.
