    DONG spuds Ipswich exploration well

    The Maersk Guardian has spudded exploration well 1/3-11 on the Ipswich prospect in license PL 274 on the Norwegian continental shelf, according to operator DONG E&P.

    STOCKHOLM -- The Maersk Guardian has spudded exploration well 1/3-11 on the Ipswich prospect in license PL 274 on the Norwegian continental shelf, according to operator DONG E&P. Planned TD for the vertical well is 3,380 m (11,089 ft) MD.

    Drilling results are expected in August.
