LIMASSOL, Cyprus– Songa Offshore’s newbuild Category D semisubmersible Songa Enabler has started drilling for Statoil in the Barents Sea.
The rig is now on operating rate under its eight-year contract on the Norwegian continental shelf.
It is also the last in a series of four Cat D semis built for and contracted to Statoil.
