Lundin to drill again in Edvard Grieg area of North Sea

Lundin Norway has authorization from the Norwegian Petroleum Directorate to drill an exploration well in the central Norwegian North Sea.

OSLO, NorwayLundin Norway has authorization from the Norwegian Petroleum Directorate to drill an exploration well in the central Norwegian North Sea.

The semisubmersibleIsland Innovator will drill well 16/1-24, the first in production license 338 C which was awarded last December. Lundin operates in partnership with OMV.

The well will be drilled southwest of the Edvard Grieg field.
