Lundin Norway has approval from the Norwegian Petroleum Directorate to drill a further appraisal well close to its Edvard Grieg development in the central Norwegian North Sea.

OSLO, Norway – Lundin Norway has approval from the Norwegian Petroleum Directorate to drill a further appraisal well close to its Edvard Grieg development in the central Norwegian North Sea.
TheRowan Viking will drill well 16/1-23 S southeast of the field in production license 338. This will be the 10th exploratory well since the concession was awarded in late 2004.
