HOUSTON – VAALCO Energy is reviewing development options for the Venus Field in Block P offshore Equatorial Guinea, the company said in its latest results statement.

These include drilling the two planned producer wells and one water injector under a single campaign to limit drilling mobilization costs.

Another current focus is on the production and export facilities, with a seabed survey planned to identify the optimum location.
