TOKYO, Japan — Petronas Carigali has contracted Japan Drilling Co.’s semisubmerisible Hakuryu 5 for a drilling program offshore Sarawak, Malaysia.

The terms call for four firm wells plus six optional wells, with the program due to start around third-quarter 2022.
