LONDON – Borr Drilling’s jackup Prospector-1 has spudded the Q11-B appraisal well in the Dutch North Sea for operator Kistos.

Drilling and testing operations should last at least six weeks, with Kistos planning to suspend the well for future use in a Q11-B gas development.

The company estimates 2C resources in the range of 67-155 bcf net, with a firmer picture likely to emerge following drilling.
