LONDON – The semisubmersible Stena Don has completed drilling, completion, and testing of the Evelyn development well in the UK central North Sea for operator Tailwind Energy.

Petrofac managed the program on Tailwind’s behalf, with the well flowing at an equipment-constrained rate of 10,000 b/d.

It was then suspended ahead of installation of subsea facilities and a pipeline next year. Tailwind expects production to start via the Triton FPSO in 4Q 2022.
