    Well-Safe to P&A North Sea Banff and Kyle wells

    ABERDEEN, UK – CNR International has contracted Well-Safe Solutions to decommission up to 14 wells on the Banff and Kyle fields in the UK central North Sea.

    Located about 320 km (199 mi) east of Aberdeen, the Banff and Kyle fields have nine development wells and five exploration and appraisal wells.

    The company’s semisubmersible Well-Safe Guardian is expected to start the decommissioning program in early 2Q 2022.

    Last month, Repsol Sinopec contracted the Well-Safe Guardian to decommission 14 subsea wells in the Buchan and Hannay fields in the UK central North Sea.
