Offshore staff
ABERDEEN, UK – KCA Deutag has secured a contract award and two extensions for platform drilling services in Russia, the UK, and the Norwegian North Sea.
The combined value of these awards is about $550 million and will account for 13 years of contract backlog.
The company’s Offshore division has won a five-year contract offshore Russia from an unnamed major oil company, with extension options.
The contractor will continue to provide platform drilling services including rig maintenance, warehousing, inventory procurement and management for three offshore platforms.
In addition, KCA Deutag’s UK and Norway divisions have secured contract extensions with longstanding clients.
