ABERDEEN, UK – Fishing milling and casing recovery provider Ardyne has formed a partnership with fishing and P&A services specialist Dynasty Energy Services.

They plan to offer P&A services worldwide.

Under the agreement, Ardyne’s US team of five people will transfer to Dynasty. The alliance will expand Dynasty’s market offering in the Western Hemisphere and Ardyne’s capability in the North Sea and wider Eastern Hemisphere.

Ardyne’s Trident system is an integrated, single-trip casing cutting and pulling system said to save rig time. The company’s Titan system, which provides power downhole, is said to provide a repeatable, casing cutting and jacking capability in a single trip and has been run more than 1,200 times around the world.

Dynasty’s Predator thru-casing section milling technology is designed to mitigate sustained pressure, providing a secure environment for barrier placement, with savings on rig time and multiple trips in the well.

It allows stabilized multiple string section milling without damage to outer casing strings, with real-time decision-making, and claimed benefits for P&A campaigns where the original well records are questionable or absent.

Combining all three systems should lead to multiple time saving solutions for P&A operations, the companies claim.
