Shell, NAM contract Maersk rigs

COPENHAGEN, Denmark – BG International, a subsidiary of Shell, has awarded the semisubmersible Maersk Discoverer a one-well contract offshore Trinidad and Tobago.

The contract is expected to start in 3Q 2021, with an estimated duration of 154 days.

NAM has awarded the jackup Maersk Resilient a one-well contract in the UK North Sea.

The $10.1-million contract is expected to start in 2Q 2021. The estimated duration is 125 days. The contract includes a one-well option.
