Shelf rig awarded long-term North Sea work

DUBAI, UAE — An unnamed North Sea operator has contracted the Shelf Drilling Fortress jackup for a 400-day program in the UK sector.
The contract value is about $54 million. Operations should begin in August in direct continuation of the rig’s current contract.
