LYNGBY, Denmark – Aker BP has awarded Maersk Drilling another one-well contract for the low-emission jackup Maersk Integrator.

On completion of another program, the rig will relocate to the Ula field in the southern Norwegian North Sea to drill the Ula F – Producer 1 well.

The 85-day, $21.6-million contract is due to start next April.

Currently the Maersk Integrator is contracted under a frame agreement between Maersk Drilling and Aker BP, as part of the Aker BP Jackup Alliance that includes Halliburton.

Under a shared incentives model, all parties are committed to collaborate and deliver digital initiatives to cut waste and deliver value, according to Maersk, with contracts based on market-rate terms but with potential upside, based on performance.

The Maersk Integrator is an ultra-harsh environment CJ70 XLE jackup rig, designed for year-round operations in the North Sea. It is due to head to the Ivar Aasen field later this month.
