STAVANGER, Norway – Aker BP has awarded Claxton a four-year master services agreement.
This covers the supply of drilling support, asset life extension, decommissioning equipment and associated services across Aker BP’s Norwegian offshore operations.
There are options to extend the agreement by up to 12 years. The award follows Claxton’s recent relocation to a new facility in Forus, Stavanger, with increased customer support capabilities.
Nick Marriott, Claxton Norway general manager, said: “Moving to the new facility allows us to grow our in-country support for risers and tensioning, and our range of well and structural cutting equipment and services.”
