Claxton, Seabed Solutions enter decommissioning partnership

Swire Seabed and WeSubsea's Seabed Excavator is a multipurpose subsea tool carrier and dredging vehicle. (Note, Swire Seabed and Seabed Solutions signed an exclusive cooperation agreement for the provision of subsea dredging services worldwide in January 2019. Later, Swire Pacific Offshore, subsidiary Swire Seabed AS and its three associated companies closed in February 2020.)

GREAT YARMOUTH, U.K. – Acteon company Claxton and Seabed Solutions have formed a decommissioning collaboration.
They aim to simplify procurement, improve project execution efficiency and reduce costs for infrastructure owners through offering dredging, excavation, cutting and decommissioning equipment and services through one contract, a single interface and using a combined offshore crew.
Claxton expanded its base in Norway in 2019 in response to industry demand. Seabed Solutions was formed in 2015 by seabed intervention specialists.
