Well decommissioning under way on North Sea Rubie, Renee fields

ABERDEEN, UK – Petrofac’s Engineering & Production Services division has started a well decommissioning contract for the Rubie and Renee fields in the UK central North Sea, 200 km (124 mi) northeast of Aberdeen.

Over the next three months, the company will provide well operator, engineering and project management services for the four wells.

Petrofac’s responsibilities range from detailed planning, direct procurement to management of all sub-contracted services, including provision of a semisubmersible rig.
