Appraisal drilling under way at Yumna offshore Oman

Masirah Oil has spudded the Yumna 1 appraisal well on the Yumna oil field in block 50 offshore Oman.

MUSCAT, Oman – Masirah Oil has spudded the Yumna 1 appraisal well on the Yumna oil field in block 50 offshore Oman.

Early production testing of the field is due to start in January with production stored in an Aframax tanker.

Masirah Oil has a 100% interest in the concession.
