    Drilling starts on North Sea Liberator field

    LONDON – The semisubmersible Borgland Dolphin has spudded the LPt-02 pilot well at the Liberator field in the UK central North Sea.

    According to operator i3 Energy, results will allow the location and trajectory of the future LP-02 production well to be optimized.

    The current well will be P&A’d before the rig moves to the LA-03 location, the next well in i3’s 2019 drilling program.
