COPENHAGEN, Denmark – Perenco has awarded the jackup Maersk Resolute a three-well contract in the UK North Sea, Maersk Drilling announced via its Twitter account.
Starting in October 2019, the rig will work on the Wollaston and Ravenspurn fields.
Earlier this month, the drilling contractor said via social media that Edison E&P contracted the ultra-deepwater semisubmersible Maersk Discoverer to drill an exploration well on the North Thekah block offshore Egypt.
The contract is expected to begin in 4Q 2019 and includes a one-well option.
