    OSLO, Norway – OMV has permission from the Norwegian Petroleum Directorate for appraisal drilling in the Norwegian Sea.

    The semisubmersible Deepsea Bergen will drill well 6506/11-11 S in production license 644, 3.8 km (2.36 mi) northwest of the producing Morvin field.
