ABERDEEN, UK --Surface engineering technology specialist Hardide Coatings has named Joe Howell technical sales manager for its operations in Aberdeen and Scandinavia.
The company provides tungsten carbide-based coatings that combine a high level of hardness, toughness, low friction, and chemical resistance when applied to components made from steel, alloys and other materials.
Howell joins from Mitsubishi's steel division in London, where he promoted sales of oilfield tubular products in North Africa and the Middle East. He worked previously in London and Aberdeen with Darron Oil Tools, Sperry-Sun Drilling Services and Aberdeen Engineering Services.
