ASKER, Norway -- TGS-NOPEC Geophysical has appointed Robert Hobbs as CEO, effective in June. He replaces Hank Hamilton, who will continue with TGS as a non-executive advisor and will be proposed by the current nomination committee for election as the new chairman of TGS.
The company's current chairman and director, Claus Kampmann, is also retiring, effective in June.
