OSLO, Norway -- Oddvar Slettevold, executive VP of projects and technology for Aker Yards, has died. He was 56 years old.
Slettevold joined Aker Yards in 1998 and was part of the executive management team from 1999. He had 20 years of experience within engineering and technical management at Aker Engineering. Slettevold held an M.Sc degree in Marine Engineering from the Norwegian Institute of Technology (NTNU).
