Offshore staff
STORD, Norway -- The Gjøa living quarters module was delivered to StatoilHydro on May 6, one day ahead of schedule, according to Leirvik MT.
The 3,600-sq m (38,750-sq ft) living quarters will accommodate 100 persons in single cabins. Technical rooms, central control rooms, a helicopter deck, and lifeboats are also included in the delivery.
Hook-up of the module will be performed at Aker Solutions' yard in August.
