HOUSTON -- Merrick Systems has released Carte 2008.2.0.0, the latest version of its production management dashboard.
Carte is a web-based production monitoring and reporting tool for viewing, graphing, analyzing, and exporting daily and monthly oil and gas production trends. Carte is used by managers, engineers, and analysts across to manage and control operations and react to issues in near real time.
The new version features enhanced chart resolution and faster data exports. Enhancements to the back end include Windows Server 2008 support, a robust installation utility and the ability to process higher volumes of complex data through the optional data repository, Merrick says.
“The power in this release is what the end user doesn’t see,” says Darren Beeksma, software engineer and Carte developer. “As Carte has developed, the need to produce more complicated production calculations on the fly while minimizing performance issues has always been a challenge. This release helps achieve that balance.”
