Petronas enters MoUs on AI with Baker Hughes, Microsoft

KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia — Petronas is creating an Artificial Intelligence Centre of Excellence to advance development of AI solutions that will support delivery of operational efficiency, improved reliability and safety of its energy operations.
At ADIPEC last week, the company signed initial memoranda of understanding (MoUs) on collaborations with Baker Hughes, Boston Consulting Group and Microsoft.
Through the new center, the partners will work with Petronas to develop and potentially commercialize AI solutions drawing on their technologies and experience.
