Valeura offshore crews safe following Myanmar earthquake

All Valeura’s facilities offshore in the Gulf of Thailand are operating safely, with no immediate indications of damage.

Valeura Energy says all its E&P personnel are safe and accounted for following this morning’s earthquake in neighboring Myanmar.

The earthquake struck central Myanmar, about 1,000 km from Bangkok. Although damage was reported to some buildings in Thailand, all Valeura’s facilities offshore in the Gulf of Thailand are operating safely, the company reported, with no immediate indications of damage.
