ABERDEEN, UK – Integrity maintenance specialist Crandale Consultants has acquired oil and gas consultancy Oil Plus from John Crane Inc.
Under its new owner Oil Plus will retain its current management, and plans to add to its workforce over the next 12 months.
The company provides oilfield water management, production chemistry, microbiology, reservoir souring and process engineering consultancy. Its specialties include water treatment design, troubleshooting and the prediction and control of corrosion, fouling, and reservoir souring.
Oil Plus was formed in 1978 as a joint venture between BP and Plenty Ltd. to provide process chemistry and engineering support services for theForties oil field in the UK central North Sea.
