GREAT YARMOUTH, UK – Proserv has committed to a new purpose-built technology center for subsea controls and communications on the English east coast.
Around 190 of the company’s employees from two sites in the area will move into the 65,000-sq ft (6,038-sq m) Beacon Park site in Gorleston-on-Sea, close to the gas fields of the southern North Sea.
There will be flexibility to add a further 20,000 sq ft (1,858 sq m) of workshop capacity.
Construction is expected to be completed next March.
Last month, the company’s Great Yarmouth team won a contract to engineer, supply and install a subsea control system for theFinlaggan gas condensate development in the UK central North Sea, operated by Zennor Pathway.
The system will incorporate Proserv’s Artemis 2G subsea electronics module.
