Fugro N.V. has acquired Improv Ltd. in Aberdeen, UK, and subsidiary Improv Inc. in Houston for $11.67 million. The company name will become Fugro Improv Ltd. and will be part of Fugro's Survey Division.

LEIDSCHENDAM, the Netherlands --Fugro N.V. has acquired Improv Ltd. in Aberdeen, UK, and subsidiary Improv Inc. in Houston for $11.67 million. The company name will become Fugro Improv Ltd. and will be part of Fugro's Survey Division.
Improv supplies tooling packages and services for subsea intervention applications. The packages are designed to be operated by ROV. Improv also will provide subsea engineering design and build capabilities to enhance Fugro's offshore geotechnical capabilities.
