Offshore staff
ABERDEEN, UK -- Abermed has acquired Edinburgh-based Offshore Medical Services for an undisclosed sum. The Edinburgh operation adds to Abermed's existing network of offices in Inverness, Aberdeen, and Glasgow.
OMS provides general and occupational health advice, compulsory medical certification, and travel medical services to the oil and gas and maritime industries, including commercial divers. It is active in supporting offshore operations in the North Sea, the Philippines, and the Indian market.
OMS' three directors will transfer with immediate effect to Abermed.
