SINGAPORE -- On April 3, 2007, the board of directors of KS Energy Services Ltd. set up joint venture KSAM2 Petrodrill Offshore Inc. to build a $148-million Super M2 jackup drilling rig.
KS Energy has a 50% equity interest in KSAM2, which is now deemed an associated company of KS Energy.
KSAM2 was incorporated in the British Virgin Islands. The company's principal activities are to carry out offshore rig services, KS Energy says.
