Bristow Group has exercised options to acquire an additional four S-92(R) helicopters and three S-76C++(TM) helicopters from Sikorsky Aircraft Corp.

DUXFORD, UK -- Bristow Group has exercised options to acquire an additional four S-92(R) helicopters and three S-76C++(TM) helicopters from Sikorsky Aircraft Corp. The purchase is valued at more than $100 million.
The S-92 aircrafts are large helicopters capable of serving oil and gas facilities in remote offshore locations around the world. The S-76C++ helicopters are medium-weight aircrafts. All seven are expected to be delivered in late 2008.
"Bristow and Sikorsky have enjoyed a strong relationship for many years, and we're extremely pleased that Bristow continues to count on Sikorsky helicopters for some of the toughest missions and in some very demanding environments," says Marc Poland, Sikorsky's VP of commercial programs.
