Henry gas field project sanctioned

The Henry gas field development project offshore Port Campbell in Victoria has been sanctioned.

ADELAIDE, Australia -- The Henry gas field development project offshore Port Campbell in Victoria has been sanctioned.

Henry was discovered in 2005 and will be developed with existing infrastructure associated with the Casino gas field. Development will enable additional gas sales to TRUenergy under an existing gas sales agreement for processing at its Iona facility.

The $242-million project includes:

• Drilling and completion of Henry-2 development well
• Drilling of Netherby-1 side-track
• Installation of subsea pipeline and control umbilical from the existing Casino facilities to Henry and Netherby
• Installation of further subsea pipeline and control umbilical to the Pecten East location
• Connection of Henry-2 and Netherby-1 and commission through the Casino infrastructure to the gas processing facility at Iona.
