(Houston)-Cooper Cameron, global provider of offshore control equipment for the oil and gas industry, has changed its name to Cameron. The announcement was officially made at Cameron's Offshore Technology Conference event held this week in Houston.
Ed Will, VP of marketing for Cameron's Drilling & Production Systems group, made the announcement to a gathering of oil and gas E&P professionals at the company's OTC event. Will called the Cameron name "a name that has long been known for trusted quality that protects your interests."
Cameron will continue to serve all flow equipment, products and systems and services markets that Cooper Cameron served. The company also recently launched a listing of new names for the divisions in its Drilling & Production Systems, Process Systems, Valves & Measurements, and Compression Systems groups.
