Knoc, Ecopetrol acquire Offshore International Group

Korea National Oil Corp. (Knoc) and Ecopetrol have acquired Offshore International Group for $900 million (50% Ecopetrol and 50% Knoc).

LIMA, Peru -- Korea National Oil Corp. (Knoc) and Ecopetrol have acquired Offshore International Group for $900 million (50% Ecopetrol and 50% Knoc).
Offshore International Group's main asset is Petro-Tech Peruana, a company focused on exploration, development, hydrocarbon production, and gas processing activities in Perú.

Offshore International Group Inc also has a holding in other companies that provide services for Petro-Tech Peruana's exploration and production activities.
