Dockwise Shipping wins multiple transportation contracts

Dockwise Shipping has won eight contracts for the transportation of jackup drilling rigs, port, and marine infrastructure.

HAMILTON, Bermuda -- Dockwise Shipping has won eight contracts for the transportation of jackup drilling rigs, port, and marine infrastructure.

The company will transport three jackup rigs to the Persian Gulf and Mexico; a sheerleg GSP to Turkey; three cargoes with dredging equipment to the USA and Algeria; and a liftboat to Trinidad. Total revenues for the contracts are approximately $35 million, the company says.

In other company news, Hyundai Heavy Industries has awarded Dockwise Shipping a $27.5-million contract to transport and install the topsides of the southern production platform for the PTTEP Bonkot 4A central facilities.
