    Aker withdraws application for Dreki Area production license

    Aker Exploration has submitted a letter to the National Energy Authority to withdraw its application for hydrocarbon exploration and production license for the First Licensing Round 2009 on the Dreki Area.

    REYKJAVIK, Iceland -- Aker Exploration has submitted a letter to the National Energy Authority to withdraw its application for hydrocarbon exploration and production license for the First Licensing Round 2009 on the Dreki Area.

    The closing date for the licensing round was May 15.
