EnerMech awarded Maersk flexible hose inspection contract

Maersk Oil North Sea UK has awarded EnerMech a $1.6-million contract to provide flexible hose inspection and maintenance services for the GPIII, Gryphon, and Janice fields.

ABERDEEN, UK -- Maersk Oil North Sea UK has awarded EnerMech a $1.6-million contract to provide flexible hose inspection and maintenance services for the GPIII, Gryphon, and Janice fields. EnerMech will also supply hoses and associated equipment.

EnerMech’s OHM online hose management software system allows clients 24-7 information on specification and inspection reporting. Radio frequency identification (RFID) tagging gathers maintenance status and location information of flexible hose assemblies.

The three-year contract has two, one-year optional extensions.
