Rolls Royce opens Texas, Washington marine centers

Rolls-Royce has opened new marine service centers in Galveston, Texas and Seattle, Washington.

LONDON -- Rolls-Royce has opened new marine service centers in Galveston, Texas and Seattle, Washington.

Encompassing 40,000 sq ft (3,716 sq m), the new Rolls-Royce Commercial Marine service center in Galveston will provide marine product repair and overhaul to customers throughout the Gulf of Mexico region.

The company's new Seattle center is nearly four times larger than the previous Rolls-Royce facility it replaces and is located at Todd Shipyard, one of the largest shipyards on the west coast and a hub for cruise ships, container vessels, and factory trawlers.
