HOUSTON – Clariant Oil Services has won a five-year contract to provide E.ON UK E&P with production chemicals and services for the Huntington field development in the UK central North Sea.
The field in block 22/14b is being developed using the Teekay PetrojarlVoyageur Spirit FPSO. At peak, oil production will reach 30,000 b/d, with a 12-year estimated lifetime.
Since 2009, Clariant has supported E.ON UK on theBabbage gas field in block 48/2 of the southern North Sea.
